RTG DETECTOR RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By renting equipment from RTG – Riley's Treasured Goods, LLC ("RTG"), the renter agrees to the following terms and conditions:
- RENTAL AGREEMENT
The renter accepts full responsibility for all rented equipment from the time it is received until it is physically returned to and inspected by RTG.
- VALID IDENTIFICATION REQUIRED
A valid government-issued photo identification and a valid credit or debit card are required for all rentals.
- SECURITY DEPOSIT
A security deposit equal to twenty-five percent (25%) of the current retail value of the rented equipment may be authorized or charged at the time of rental. RTG reserves the right to retain all or part of the deposit to cover unpaid rental charges, late fees, damage, missing components, cleaning fees, repair costs, or replacement costs.
- RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOSS, THEFT, OR NON-RETURN
The renter is fully responsible for the replacement cost of any rented equipment that is lost, stolen, abandoned, destroyed, confiscated, or not returned.
If rented equipment is not returned as agreed, the renter authorizes RTG to charge the payment method on file for the full current retail replacement value of the equipment, including all included accessories and applicable fees.
- DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT
The renter is responsible for any damage occurring during the rental period beyond normal wear and tear.
RTG reserves the sole right to determine whether equipment will be repaired or replaced and to determine the cost associated with such repair or replacement.
- LATE RETURNS
Equipment not returned by the agreed return date and time may be subject to additional rental charges at the current daily rental rate until returned.
Failure to communicate with RTG regarding overdue equipment may result in additional collection efforts and charges as permitted by law.
- INCLUDED COMPONENTS
All rented equipment must be returned with the same components and accessories provided at the time of rental, including but not limited to:
- Search coils
- Batteries
- Chargers
- Headphones
- Carrying cases
- Protective covers
- Manuals
- Any additional accessories included in the rental package
Missing items will be charged at current replacement cost.
- PROPER USE OF EQUIPMENT
The renter agrees to operate all equipment in a safe and responsible manner and only within the manufacturer's intended specifications.
The renter assumes all risk associated with the use of the equipment.
- NO TRANSFER OF POSSESSION
Rental equipment may not be loaned, assigned, transferred, subleased, or provided to any third party without the prior written consent of RTG.
- PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION
The renter expressly authorizes RTG to charge the payment method provided for:
- Rental charges
- Security deposits
- Late fees
- Damage repairs
- Replacement costs
- Missing accessories
- Collection costs
- Any other amounts due under this agreement
- LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
RTG shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, claim, delay, lost profits, consequential damages, incidental damages, or expenses arising from the use or inability to use rented equipment.
- CONDITION OF EQUIPMENT
The renter acknowledges that all equipment has been inspected and determined to be in satisfactory working condition prior to rental unless otherwise documented.
- GOVERNING LAW
This agreement shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Florida.
- ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By completing the rental transaction, the renter acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and authorize RTG to charge the payment method on file for any amounts due under this agreement.
